More evidence to support my lifestyle. The Independent released an article that speaks of some specific health benefits found in coffee.
Of course, this leads me to a theory Jesse and I have always had…

Wired has an interesting article that caught my eye due to my Cherokee roots. I’ll have to check with my folks, but I believe that my family knows the John Haney cited in the article. I’ll have to check on that.
I always thought it weird that Firefox did not have any ftp support to speak of. I like SmartFTP for a dedicated ftp client, but needed to give some simpler instructions to a couple users. Internet Explorer has good ftp support, even allowing drag and drop transfers. However, it’s not great for all sites and is questionably dependable. If you have Firefox, fireFTP is a great plugin. I think I might ditch SmartFTP for it!
I came into work today (which involved crossing a hallway from the bedroom) and realized that my work environment rivals any posh commercial office space. I have access to a full kitchen, very liberal dress code (though today I am dressed to “Tie Level”, and very few interruptions.

Ahh… finally exerted dominance over nut formerly known as crazy. When at the end of my strength, dad’s advice came to mind…

hacksawed some 1/2″ EMT I had in the garage and verily had my way with the old faucet. Here’s some before and after:

I’ve been googling for some ‘portable’ martini glasses, preferable stainless steel. Every glass one I have is just way too fragile to take in my bar set. The bar set was a great wedding gift from Rem, but having trouble finding accessories for it. Thought it was Pottery Barn but not on their site any more.
Anyhow, came across this set which is also nice. Although the case doesn’t seem up to excellent standards (a rectangular set would be much better methinks), the trio of semi-circular flasks is … BRILLIANT!
Attempting to replace our bathroom sink faucet that appears to have been installed circa ten presidents ago. The faucet nuts are completely rusted in. So far I’ve doused them in Gunk penetrating oil a dozen times and I also bought the largest basin wrench I could get to.
Still nothin’…
Seeking strongman tomorrow.
I said I’d never start a blog. I’ve also said other things.
Like… I’ve said I would never begin a conversation that began with an excuse of why it didn’t start sooner.
And with that, we begin.
